Gargamel's Halloween Show

For Plopsa, we developed a completely new live show about Gargamel, the biggest and most iconic villain in the world of Smurfs. In this original show, Gargamel unveils his latest invention: a dangerous carnivorous plant designed to finally capture the Smurfs. Together with his loyal cat Azraël, an exciting and comical adventure unfolds, actively involving the audience in his cunning plan.

The show was developed entirely bilingual in both French and Flemish/Dutch and expanded with meet & greet moments, where visitors were able to meet Gargamel and Azraël in person. The result is a full character experience where story, music, design and live interaction merge, and an iconic character comes to life in the park.

We developed the entire creative and production foundation of the show. From concept, storyline and script to direction, character development and the complete musical identity. Especially for this production, we composed two original songs and a unique custom soundtrack that bring the world of Gargamel to life.

For Azraël, we created a high-quality hand puppet, so that this beloved character can interact live with the audience as a full-fledged character. In addition, we produced all custom costumes, designed to translate the original IP convincingly and faithfully into a live park experience.
